Beethoven’s “Eroica” + Allison Eldredge Plays Saint-Saëns Faneuil Hall Boston MA 50% off Admission

Boston Classical Orchestra launches its 32nd season with a "best of the classics" program at the historic Faneuil Hall. Music Director Steven Lipsitt begins with Rossini’s irrepressible "Barber of Seville" overture followed by Saint-Sans’ melodious Cello Concerto and Beethoven’s powerful "Eroica" Symphony. Mary Ann Nichols will talk about the music and the composers who wrote it one hour before each performance. The Saint-Sans concerto features cello virtuoso Allison Eldredge. Eldredge is a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant and has performed as a soloist with several world-class orchestras. She is on the faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music.
